Every variable - either an equation or a dimension - can be assigned directly.

The entry is always carried out in the same field. Therefore e.g. it isn't a problem having calculations carried out and documented automatically, such as 10+20+23. So it is still clear afterwards on which basis the dimension was created.

Furthermore you can see quite well which dimensions are controlled by equations, i.e. which dimensions were parameterized by the user. This enables a better overview of your parametric model.
