is the consistent advancement of the semantic feature technology found in

WoodWorks.
PASCAM Bea
is completely and seamlessly integrated in SolidWorks® and interlocked closely
with
PASCAM
WoodWorks. Where
PASCAM
WoodWorks is adding powerful woodworking
engineering solutions and semantic feature information to a standard
SolidWorks® file for easy, customized, variant modelling, PASCAM
Bea
is adding parameterisable CAM machining features to the SolidWorks®
3D model, just like the familiar geometry features of SolidWorks®.
Together with
PASCAM
WoodWorks it is possible to
create an integrated
CAx chain. Starting with the modelling and design process, the following
determination of accounting and billing, the optional drawing and BOM list
generation and right up to
the CNC program preparation, based on the SolidWorks® 3D model.
Successful operational
application in the international woodworking sector confirm the
efficient use of PASCAM
Bea at all manufacturing requirements (see also
PASCAM
references). Regardless of the size of the company, the materials
processed or products manufactured. We are dealing with exclusive
cabinet makers and joiners, as well as mass manufacturers of cabinet
furniture. Manufacturers whose products are based on face frame or
rail and stile
construction (doors, windows), and others that rely extensively on
frameless sheet and panel
material, like bathroom and kitchen manufacturers,
shop fitters, yacht builders, etc.
Already at the early
stages of the development of PASCAM
Bea the base frame of this integrated CADCAM
solution was shown in the
context of a master thesis at the
University of Applied Sciences at Rosenheim,
Germany in cooperation with one of our
