PASCAM Bea is an open CAM-module which is integrated completely into SolidWorks^®. It is a special tool for the requirements of the woodworking sector and cooperates very efficiently and smoothly with our enhanced modeling and engineering tool PASCAM WoodWorks.

You can handle the following tasks very efficiently:

•  Generation of woodworking machining strategies or manufacturing features like drilling, routing, sawing and even edgebanding

•  Optional automatic determination of manufacturing parameters

•  Modification of manufacturing parameters on every SolidWorks^® geometry contour element

•  Fast generation of CNC-programs on a fingertip with full tool path verification in simulation with user defined drill-banks and router tools

•  Optional manufacturing feature suppression per type, one by one or controlled by equations

•  Determination of contour geometry with geometry features directly in the SolidWorks^® model

•  All SolidWorks^® geometry modifications will directly and fully associative affect the relevant CAM features (drilling templates, etc.)

•  PASCAM WoodWorks is enabling the quick and safe drag&drop application of user-defined machining strategies and CAM features by means of PASCAM Modifications/Processings templates

•  Easy input of all relevant data by completely integrated dialogs, user-friendly wizards, PASCAM feature trees and managers in the familiar SolidWorks^® user interface

•  Optional control of all CAM manufacturing parameters via powerful PASCAM WoodWorks material equations

•  Application of approved CAM postprocessing engines like the MPR-interface of the company Homag, the CAM system of GTR or AlphaCAM, developed by Licom Systems

•  Smart and economical nested based machining with 'GTR Nest Management powered by PASCAM Bea', developed by our CAM partner GTR.

PASCAM Bea supports the CAM programming for all common 3 or 4 axis woodworking CNC-machines in the efficient generation of CNC-relevant machining strategies and manufacturing data. The postprocessor specific parameter specification is enabling the control and CAM program generation for multiple machines from different woodworking CNC machine manufacturers.
